Description | (1) Dame Jane Cotton, Stretton Hall, Beds., widow and relict of Sir John C., Bart. decd. (2) Thomas Hart, and wife. Thomas Bowdler, and wife. Frances Cotton. Mary Cotton. Recites: (i) Sir John C., by his will of 18 April, 1750 bequeathing to (1) £1,000 to be paid out of the first rents of the estate after his decease, and also an annuity of £500 out of the estates except those in jointure to me already, clear of all charges except the Land Tax. (ii) (1) having received a bond of yesterday in £6,000 for the payment of the said sums, and to enable (2) to dispose of the estate and to discharge the estate. Now for 10/- from (2) to (1). (1) to (2) The said moneys and all claims on account thereof. |
