Description(1) John Norborne, Esq., second son of Walter, late of Studley, Calne, Wilts., Esq., decd. (2) Mary Norborne, London, widow and relict of Walter Norborne, and mother of (1). In consideration that (2) by several indentures of even date with this, made upon the marriage of (1) with Isabell Ayscoghe, gentlewoman, hath assigned over £10,400 secured by mortgages, bonds and other securities and also the securities themselves to be settled for such uses and upon such trusts as are contained in Articles of Agreement of even date. Now (1) to (2) in possession by a lease of yesterday. Parcel of meadow called Smithams als Smith Lands (14a); several parcels called doe little meadows (25a); parcel lying towards the Gate near Storkstreet towards Fernehills. Inclosed ground between Storkstreet Lanes and Stork Common fields. All formerly in tenure of Samuel Dunche and/or Gabriel Berke, Esq., all in Storke and/or Calne, Wilts. Great Bessells Close (47a) late in tenure of William Whittock. Avon Ball Close (30a) Little Queensfields (20a); late in tenure of Thomas Michell, lying in Woodrewe in the parish of Melksham, wilts. With all apps. and all title of (1). To use of (2) for ever. Usual conditions. (1) to execute any necessary deeds of further assurance within next 7 years.
