Description1. Robert Pulleyn, St. Neots, Esq. 2. John Addington, Sawtry, yeoman. 1. to 2. 4 closes in Conington in occupation of 2., viz. Great Close (12 acres); Little Close (3 acres); Fen Close (7 acres); Grove Close (4 acres). All in Conington and in tenure of 2. For 21 years at £18.16s p.a. and £10 p.a. for every acre ploughed. 1. to provide underwood for hedges, 2. to repair fences, to cut 5 acres of mole and ant hills p.a. till all are cut. 2. to do hedging and ditching and cut 3 acres of hedge p.a. Endorsed: 1) The lands within mentioned are the same lands, the tenant the same tenant and the rent the same rent and the only alteration which this lease makes is advantageous covenants in preserving and improving the lands. 2) Memo: before the ensealing of this lease 1. agreed to provide rough timber for posts and rails for Fen Close the same being allowed by the late Sir John Cotton, Bart.
