Sir John Heathcote, Normanton, Bart. 4. Thomas Hart, Warfield, Berks, Esq., and Jane his wife; Frances Cotton and Mary Cotton, Stretton Hall, spinsters. 4 women heirs of Sir John Cotton. Recites: 1) Articles of Agreement of 30 Apr. 1742 which set up a trust to provide £16,000 for Eliz. Stuart Bowdler from the estate of Sir John Cotton. 2) Deed of 25 Feb. 1750, by which, 1. with Sir John Cotton, altered some of the trusts in the agreement. 3) Deed of 7 Nov. last by which 1. appointed 2. as Trustees for the £16,000 as yet unpaid. 4) Will of Sir John Cotton of 18 Apr. 1750, which charged his estate with the payment of the £16,000. 5) Purchase by 3. of Manor of Conington with apps. etc., part of the estate of the late Sir John Cotton for £52,500 conveyance of same to 3. Receipt by 2. from 3. of £16,000 and direction by 1. that 2. shall discharge the estate of the trust. Now for £16,000 paid to 2. by 3., 2. acquit 3. and the Manor of Conington sold and conveyed to 3. and all the real and personal estate of the late Sir John Cotton, from the £16,000 and all interests and costs on account thereof. Endorsed: Receipt by 2. from 3. on order of 1. of £16,000 part of the aforesaid £52,500.
