DescriptionRecites: 1) Agreement made on sale of Lordship and Advowson of C. to Heathcote that when the church of C. should be lawfully void of Thomas Dodd, the then present incumbent, Heathcote would present for institution such clerk as would be chosen by the Cotton heirs. 2) The Rectory of C. being now void by the death of the said Thomas Dodd. Therefore Cotton heirs nominate James Orem, clerk, M.A., being over 60, to be presented to the said Rectory and parish church and instituted thereto.
