TitleAgreement
Description(1) Thomas Cotton, Esq., sheriff of the counties of Cambridge and Huntingdon. (2) Walter Lorkyn, Assyngham, Cambs. Agreement that (2) shall serve (1) in the office of undersheryff within the said counties during the term of his Sheryfwyk. (2) to do all that Deputy Sheriff has always done except Sessions of the peace, Grenewex and Summones of the pype and the shires within the county of Huntingdon. (2) to be paid £4. for this and all the offeryngs that undersheriffs used to have except offeryngs within the said co. of Huntingdon. If that is not enough he shall have a rewarde by the advise of John Burgoyn Esq., Robert Arnold, gent and Nicholas Hughson, gent. (2) binds himself to keep said covenants to (1) in sum of £20.
