Description1. Richard Boton, Stepul Giddinge. 2. Lionell Kynge, of the same town. 2. to 1. His tenement in Stepul Gidding, between a tenement of the Abbot of Ramsey on the south and one of --- Boton sometyme Stenecley on the north, with all lands and apps. Which descended to 2. as right heir of his mother Alys Kynge, which she got of the gift of Thomas Kynge her husband, as appeareth by a deed of feoffment made unto the same Alys, Matthew Garnett and Robert Boton. 2. to live there for 1 whole year ended after next Michaelmas, paying 6/8d. for the year. Then 2. to have a dwelling house in Steepul Gidding with 40as. and fielding of 5 kyre and 40 sheep, paying 6/8d p.a. 2 to do repairs. 1. to pay £7. as follows, (contd. on dorse), £4.12s. at time of this indenture; 20/- at All Saints; 39/- after All Saints. Either party bound in £40 to keep promises by obligations of even date with this indenture.
