Description1. The Rev. George Molyneux, Huntingdon, Clerk. 2. John Moyer Heathcote, Conington Castle, Esq. Recites: 1) 2. being seized as patron to the advowson and right of patronage of the rectory and parish church of S. Gidding, 2) Said rectory now vacant by resignation of Rev. Geo. Heathcote, the last incumbent and it is intended that 1. shall be presented to Bishop of Ely to the end that he may be instituted and inducted into said rectory. 3) Agreed that before such presentation 1. shall enter into agreement and covenant hereinafter contained. Now 1. agrees with 2. that within 6 calendar months after he is required by 2., he will make a full and legal resignation of said rectory to the Bishop of Ely or his representative, to the intent that Charles Gilbert Heathcote, son of 2. may be presented to said rectory if qualified. Added: Declaration by H.R. Evans, deputy diocesan registrar that a duplicate of this deed was deposited in the Diocesan Registry on 20 Oct. 1859.
