Description1. Goeffery Hull, Upton, yeoman and Eliz., his wife 2. John Warner, D.D., Archdeacon of Rochester. 1. to 2. for £446.4.2d. (which is the consideration as well for the surrendering certain copyhold lands held of the Manor of Alkenbury Weston to 2. as for conveying the following). Parcels of land called the Home Stall (1a) Haytor's Close with a little Close adjoining (4½as); Piper's piece (2½as.); Arable land (48½as), in the fields of Upton, i.e. Piper's piece (5as) in Neather field; 1a. against the Brook; ½a. in Sideham against the Brook; In Holywell 2 as. abutting against South Haydon; In Rigilwell 1a.; ½a. in the same furlong; 1a. in Millfield on Brooke furlong; 2 half as. in Weston long abutting the highway; 1a. upon Under Hulk; 2 as. on the same furlong; ½a. on Old Mill; ½a. on Cronidge furlong abutting East and North; 1 r. on the same furlong; 1a. on Moore Slade furlong; 4 r. on the south side of Weston long furlong; ½a. on the north side of Tauts furlong; one Long Rood upon the same furlong; ½a. in the open field on Mill Hill furlong abutting East and West; 1a. on Rangland furlong; ½a, on the same furlong; ½a. headland on the same furlong abutting Round Bush; ½a. on Roundbush furlong; 2as. on the same furlong; ½a. on Stories' furlong; ½a. on Breath Furlong abutting against Spritwell Haydon; ½a. on he same furlong abutting Coppingford Greene north; ½a. more on the same furlong abutting Droveway North; ½a. more on the same furlong; 1 other ½a. in the same furlong; 2as. on the east side of the same furlong. All commons and pasturage for horses, 3 cows, and 24 sheep in the common fields of Upton. And all other lands of 1. in Upton, with all apps. 1. seized in fee simple with no limitation of uses, except those limited by indenture of 17 Jan. 19 Ch.II. 1. to perform any necessary deeds of further assurance within the next 7 years. 1. covenants with 2. to levy a Fine in favour of 2., to use of 2., before the end of Easter Term next. Endorsed: Memo that on 4 Oct. 1671 1. delivered seisin of an acre in Archmeadow furlong which came to him by inheritance from Thomas Hull, his father, in the name of all the lands which came to him by dissent from his father to John Heron of G'ter, Esq., to use of 2. And also did deliver seisin of 1 other a. of land in the same furlong in the name of the whole land which 1. had of Henry English, Esq. inexchange for the before-mentioned parcel so descended from his father to the said John Heron to the use of 2. according to meaning of within-written deed.
