Description1. Thomas English, Buckland, Esq. and Henry English, Wigsall, Esq. 2. Robert Pulleyn, Middle Temple, gent. 1. to 2. for £3,300, £700 paid to 1. and £2,600 paid to James Fairclough, by direction of 1. in satisfaction of £2,600 owing to him and secured to be paid by indenture of 8 Dec. 1680, and by Lease and Release of 6/7 Dec. 1680. Manor of Upton with apps. and all lands of 1. in Upton except Hull's farm (50as.) and Short Wood (40as.) with way to and from it, with all necessary deeds. 1. agree to levy a fine in favour of 2. before the end of Mich. Term. Lands clear except for indenture of 24 Jan. 1662. 1. to perform any necessary deeds of further assurance within the next 10 years. Endorsed: Receipt from 1. to 2. for £400 and security for £300 more and agreement that 2. shall have the rents of the lands from last Ladyday.
