Description1. Robert Boothby, now or late of Low Layton, Essex., Esq., only son and heir of Thomas Boothby, late of Chingford, decd. 2. Edmund Lacon, Grays Inn, gent. (1. to 2.) Manor of Chingford Comitis, at Chinckford Comitis, Essex, with all apps., Advowson and patronage of and to Chingford Rectory with apps. Capitol messuage called Friday Hill with all apps., Dovehouse Field Orchard (5a); Buttfield (10a); Churchfield (8a.); Great Whitnums and The Slipe (13a.); Little Whitnums (10a.); Upper and Lower Friday Fields (10a.); parcels of meadow in Upper and Lower Ney (20a.); Orchard near Homes Tenement (1½a.); all in Chingford; Messuage with apps. and closes, i.e. Great Cherry Downs (35a.); 2 Little Cherry Downs (18a.); Thisley Field (26a.); Warefield (25a.); Hallfield and Oxlees Island (20a.); now or late in occup. of John Wright. Messuage with apps. and pieces of land (41a.); now in occup. of Jasper Gale. Messuage and 8 pieces of land called Southfield (82a.); Wear and fishery or right of fishing in the River Lea with small island in the river now in occup. of - Clerk, widow. 2 hoppitts of pasture in or near the Forest of Waltham, Essex (2a.), now or late in occup. of Henry Deakins. Jasper Gale; New erected cottage with apps. late in occup. of John Glading; Buntingbridge Field (7a.); 2a. near Parsonage Grove in tenure of - Low, widow, all in Chingford. And all lands of 1. in Essex with all manorial rights. For 500 years. Endorsement: I. 1) Principal still due to 2. 2) 2. has agreed to lend 1. £300 to be charged on the above premises. Now for £300 from 2. to 1., 1. agrees with 2. that all the above premises shall stand charged with and be a security for its repayment 1. has given to 2. a bond of even date in £600 for repayment. 19 March 1759 Endorsement: II Recites: 1) £1400 and £300 still due to 2. 2) 2. has agreed to lend 1. £1300 to be charged on the above premises. Now for £1300 from 1. to 2., 1 agrees with 2. that all the above premises shall stand charged with and be a security for its repayment. 1. has given to 2. a bond of even date in £2,600 for repayment. 8 Dec. 1759 Added note that in Mich. Term 1759 judgement was conferred from 1. to 2. in £6,600 penalty for further securing all the said several principal sums and interest due on aforesaid securities. Copy of endorsements has further endorsement: viz: Recites: 1) all money still owing to 2. 2) 2. having agreed to lend 1. £200 to be charged on same premises. Now 1. agrees with 2. that all the above premises shall stand charged with the repayment and shall not be redeemable till sums of £200 and £300 are paid. And 1. agrees that the judgement obtained against him at the suit of 2. in the Court of Common Pleas as of Mich. Term 1759 for the sum of £6,600 shall be a further collateral security for the repayment of the said sum of £200 and interest at the rate aforesaid. 30 Dec. 1762.
