(c) Manor of Hawxbury 12 Jun. 1598 Surrender (copy) by Lancellot Andrewes,D.D., of one messuage called Cranes and 9a. land to use of Thomas Princippe, son of Martha Salmon late Princippe, sister of Lancellot Andrewes and Admission of Thomas. (d) Manor of Hawxbury 12 Jun. 1598 William Jeffery on 1 Jul. 1597 surrendered to Robert Taylor and Edward Indson, 1 cottage with garden and 2a. land called Bayles to use as declared in the will of said William Jeffery, i.e. to Joan my wife all my houses and lands with apps. in Fobbing, Langdon,Hills and Westerley for life paying to son William £3 p.a. while she lives.
