House and timber on estate = £1,000 Perpetual Advowson of the living = £48 p.a. at 7 years purchase = £336. The Manor = £100. Total = £25,538. Less a composition paid to the Rector of £40 p.a. at 30 years' purchase = £1,200. Making total = £24,338. Notes: Parish and Manor coextensive, no other landowner, except the Rector's Glebe. Tenants do repairs - rough timber, bricks and tiles being allowed them, and pay all taxes except the land-tax. Whole estate is freehold and pays no quit rent to any other Manor.
