TitleRegister's Minutes (copy) i.e. Recommendations of the Court to the Master of the Rolls. Decree of Chancery.
DescriptionThat the will and codicils of Sir Gilbert Heathcote ought to be established. That the master should take an account of the personal estate not specifically bequeathed which has come to the defendant, John Heathcote, his only acting exor. Advert for creditors to be put in London Gazette. Personal estate to be used for debts and funeral expenses and then for legacies and £200 annuity to Lady Heathcote. Residue to be banked in trust - to buy £3% Bank Annuities to the account of the plaintiff Sir Gilbert H. the infant who may appeal for same when he is 21. Inventories to be made of testator's household goods in Grosvenor Sq. and North End, Fulham. And of plate and Lady Heathcote's jewels. A copy for Lady H. and John H. and for the Master of the Rolls. The defendants, John Robert and Elizabeth H. are entitled to the provision made for them by the Codicils. John H. the exor., to see to this. If not enough money for their portions the Master is to appoint a receiver of the estates settled on Robert and John H. by deed of 6 July, 1785 and to administer the same. Younger sons may have money transferred to them when they are 21. Master to appoint guardian for 3 younger children. Master to state allowance proper for maintenance and education of 4 children. Their maintenance money so far to be paid to Dame Eliz. H. and hereafter to whoever maintains them. Money for Sir Gilbert to be paid to Dame Eliz., one of his guardians by will. Parties to produce all relevant documents. All parties to be paid their costs out of testator's estate and any party to be at liberty to apply to this court and refer it to Mr. Graves.
