Description(1) John Bryan, St. Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, blacksmith. (2) Hester Haslam, Clapham, Surrey, spinster. (3) Samuell Moyer, Clapham, Surrey, Esq. Recites Lease of 18 Aug. 1648 from James Williams, Reddrith, Surrey, brewer, administratrix of the goods of Rice Williams his father to (1) of two messuages in Reddrith, one late in occupation of John and Anne Smallman, and then in that of John Phillpott blacksmith, the other of 2 rooms, a lower room lately part of Rice Williams' brewhouse and 23' by 13', and one other upper room formerly used by said Rice for a mault loft, 25' by 19' then in occupation of John Laxton, joyner, with all apps. For 36 years at 1 peppercorn. Now (1), in consideration of his forthcoming marriage with (2), to (3). Said lease and said messuages therein granted. For residue of term. In trust for benefit of (1) for life, then of (2) if she outlives (1), then to lawful heirs of (1) and (2). If none, to whoever (2) shall appoint by will of other deed. If no such appointment, to right heirs of (2). for residue of term. (2) to pay rents and keep covenants in said lease.
