TitleMarriage Settlement
Description(1) John Fancourt, Pilton, Rutland, farmer. (2) Mary Jenkins, Charles St., St. Georges Hanover Sq., Westminster, spinster. (3) John Heathcote, Charles St., Esq. Recites: (i) forthcoming marriage of (1) and (2). (ii) (2) being entitled to £500 3% consolidated bank annuities in the Bank of England, and she has in view of her impending marriage, transferred the same to (3). Now it is agreed that said money was transferred to (3) on the following trusts: In trust for (2) until her marriage, then on trust to pay interest to (2) for her sole use. After her death to pay interest to (1). After his death sum to be paid to the children of the marriage in equal shares, to sons at 21, to daus at 21 or marriage, whichever is first. If no issue or if they all die, (3) shall hold the principal sum for (1) and transfer the same, if (2) predeceases him. But if (1) predeceases (2), (3) to hold the sum for (2) and transfer the same. Lawful for (3) to sell and re-invest. If (3) dies (1) and/or (2) may appoint new trustees.
