Description(1) John Moyer Heathcote, Conington Castle, Esq and The Rev. Robt. Boothby Heathcote, Great Friday Hill, Essex, clerk. (2) The Rt. Hon. William Henry Viscount Downe, Bookham Grove, nr. Leatherhead, Surrey. (3) John Ottey, Snaith, Yorks, tailor. (4) William Cadman, Snaith, shoemaker. Recites: (i) various assurances and Indenture of 8 May, 1849 by which premises hereinafter described were conveyed to use of (2) and by which it is declared lawful for (1), at request of tenant for life, to sell the premises and to revoke any of the uses and trusts thereinbefore limited, and to declare new uses and trusts. (ii) (3) has contracted with (1) to buy the premises for £290, by direction of (2). (iii) (3) wishes the premises to be limited to the uses hereinafter declared. Now (1), at request of (2) revoke all the uses in Indenture of 8 May, 1849 so far as they affect the premises hereinafter described, except the power to limit those premises to the uses hereinafter expressed, and limit the said premises to the uses hereinafter declared. (1) and (2) for £290, for 10/- to (2), to (3). Two messuages with outbuildings and gardens at Snaith (1r.8p.) with all apps. To such uses as (3) shall appoint or to use of (3) for life. Then to use of (4) during life of (3) in trust for (3). Then to (3) and heirs for ever. (3) declares that his widow shall not be entitled to dower out of the premises. Usual covenants. Added: Draft receipt to (3) for £290.
