Description(1) John Moyer Heathcote, Conington Castle, Esq. and the Rev. Robt. Boothby Heathcote, Great Friday Hill, Chingford, Essex, clerk. (2) The Rt. Hon. William Henry Viscount Downe. (3) John Stephenson, Stamford, Lincs., Collector of Inland Revenue. (4) Henry Eadon, Snaith, Yorks, Esq. Recites: (i) Indentures of 20 and 21 July, 1843, 28 Nov. 1846 and 8 May, 1849 by which premises hereinafter described were conveyed to use of (2), and by last-mentioned Indenture it is declared lawful for (1), at request of tenant for life, to sell the premises and to revoke any of the uses and trusts therein- before limited, and to declare new uses and trusts. (ii) (1) at request of (2) have agreed with (3) for sale to him of premises hereinafter described for £1,880 and (3) has requested that they be conveyed to the uses hereinafter contained. (iii) (2) has consented to enter into the covenants hereinafter on his part contained. Now (1), at request of (2) revoke the uses and trusts in Indentures of 21 July, 1843 and 8 May, 1849, so far as they affect the premises hereinafter described, except the power to limit those premises to the uses hereinafter declared. (1), at request of (2) for £1,880, to be disposed of by (1) according to the trusts of Indenture of 8 May, 1849, appoint that the hereditaments described shall be to the uses and trusts hereinafter expressed, and 10/- to (2), (1) and (2) to (3). Two dwelling houses with adjoining buildings and gardens at Snaith, (31 perches), bounded on the east by property of Mrs. Sherburn, west by that of William Robinson, north by the Town St., and south by the Back Lane. Also farmhouse with adjoining outbuildings and gardens (2r.24p.) with adjoining garth (14p.). North Lane Close adjoining (4a.1r.21p.) all in Camblesforth, Drax, Yorks, and bounded on east and north by hereditaments of the Rev. Jocelyn Willey and on west and south by the road. And Jackson's Close at Camblesforth (3a.3r.23p.) bounded on east by part of the next described close, west and south by land on said Jocelyn Willey, north by land of trustees of James Kay, Several closes at Camblesforth, i.e. Spring Close Wood (11a.3r.14p.). East Horn Close (11a.3r.21p.) Great Close (13a.3r.18p.) Pinfold Lane (2a. 17p.). Nine acres (10a.2r.); 10 Acres (10a.3r.21p.); West Horn Close (9a.2r.11p.) and Well Close (7a.2r.1p.), all bounded on east and north by land of Col. Thompson, west by land of trustees of James Kay, by Jackson's Close and by land of Jocelyn Willey, south by a road, by land of J. Willey and of Col. Thompson. Common Close (4a.3r.33p.) at Camblesforth bounded on east and north by land of trustees of - Harrison, west by land of Thomas Briggs and south by Clay Lane. With all apps. To uses and trusts that (3) shall appoint or to use of (3) for life, then to use of (4) during life of and in trust for (3) to intent that widow of (3) may not be entitled to dower out of the said premises. Then to use of (3) and heirs for ever. Usual covenants. Added: Draft receipt from (1) to (3) for £1,880.
