DescriptionCriticism of Mr. Weston who has been employed to do the estimates etc. on the (Conington) estate by Heathcote, and assertion that Mr. Hinde would have been better, because he knows the country better. Mitchell's original estimate for the tenants' repairs etc. was £1,500 but now that Mr. Hoddell has made such promises to the tenants Mitchell estimates that the repairs will cost another £2,000.
