DescriptionMr. Curtis asks Tyson to tell (Heathcote) that there are 2 estates of Mr. Bertie of Uffington for sale, one at Stukeley, the other Market Deeping and West Deeping, Lincs. Stukeley lies between the Wheatsheaf and Huntingdon; the rent is c.£400 p.a. and old rents. It is freehold. Market Deeping better than £400 p.a. but on lease from the Crown of which 40 years is to come. Design to sell still a secret and first offer and refusal made to (Heathcote). Curtis, who has the selling of them, will provide all assistance and information and Particulars re. them. Curtis reports a terrible hurricane with great damage. Hopes (Heathcote) has recovered from indisposition. Will do anything to help re. purchase or in any other way.
