They have not yet found the writtings re. the Duke's lands at Stukeley so cannot get any light re. the matter from them. And have made little progress in searches elsewhere. Repeats information from previous letter. Hopes that he will drop the case or whatever happens that no difference shall be made between the Duke and him.
