Rooper on the flora of Whittlesea Mere; lists of notable events in the history of the fens and especially their drainage; ballads of the fens; an account of the finds made when Whittlesey Mere was drained, with Prof. Sedgwick's comments on the archaeological remains there; and pictures and news of Fen Skating from The Illustrated London News of 2 Feb. 1867.
