To trustees: Sir Robert Cotton, knight of St. George Hatley, Philip Cotton, Esq, Cambridge, brother Sir Thomas Tyrell bart of Thornton, Buckinghamshire; of Cunnington, Cambridge and kinsman Robert Hamsom of Inner Temple, sergt-at-law. Moiety of Manor of Waresley, and moiety of manor house which I have a joint purchase with my late father sir J. Hewett bart from Thomas Marsh, Esq. House and lands purchased of J. Whission, now occupied by J. Kidman. Primne? (or punne?) Farm purchased of James Cockery Cookes Farm purchased of James Cockery. Pedleys Farm. Fields Close purchased of J. Field. Whisson's Close, purchased of J. Whisson, sen. Lease of tithes of Waresley from Pembrooke Hall, Cambridge. A;; properties in Chesterton, Huntingdon (After death of wife, Dame Francis Hewett) to pay £600'ea. to younger sons, Tyrrell, Robert, William James Thomas Toby and Benjamin at 15 years. £1500 to eldest daughter Hester on condition he makes no claim to executorship of her uncle Mr. Robert Hewett. £1000 to daughter Frances, £1200 to daughter Edeth, £1000 to daughter Elizabeth. Untill they reach 15 or marry, they are to have £30 per year, for maintainance (except Hester who is to have £40) remainder to son J. Hewett. £10 to each of trustees to buy a piece of plate, £5 to poor, £10 to sister Cleek? for mourning, £10 to Dame Grace Brigrave, 10/- to Mary Brown, wife of Aaron Brown to buy a ring, 20/- to Mary Cobb to buy a ring, 20/- to Susan Cropley to buy a ring. I give Wilburton to my son John Hewett and heirs for ever executor son J.H. Dame Francis to continue to live in manor house till son J. reaches 21. Witnesses: William Francis, clerk, Thomas Pitts, clerk and George Whetcroft.
