Mortgage and Assignment (term of 500 years) 2 March 1725/6. 1. Valentine Baldam of Royson, Hertfordshire, malster. 2. Nicholas Apthorpe of Potton, gent (now deceased) 3. J. Badcock. Redeemable by Apthorpe on payment of £82 to Badcock. Witnesses: Ann Titchmarsh, Fran Wingfield. 3 March 1730/1 Endosement: Assignment. John Hagar has died 1747, leaving his property to nephew William Lightfoot in trust for son J. Hewett Hagar Lightfoot dies and administration was granted to his sister Elizabeth Lightfoot, of St. Ann's Westminster, spinster. J. Hewett Hagar has agreed to sell his Waresley property to J.March the younger of Panton Square St James' Westminster. Elizabeth Lightfoot therefore assigns mortgage to March. Signatures and seals of Lightfoot and Hagar.
