Salmon of Debden, Essex, yeoman, and Mary his wife; and Edward Salmon of Stapleford, Cambridge, yeoman and Charlotte his wife (Ann, Mary and Charlotte are daughters of late Charlotte Brown) 3. J. Wells of Gamlingay, yeoman. 4. Francis Stowbridge of Potton, widow [mortgagee of the freehold] Freehold in Gamlingay. 2 cottages near Church Lane which leads from High Street (Cambridge Street) to the Common Pound (the cottage now or late of J. Facer called by the sign of the George standing on the north side thereof) and which said cottages now are of late were in the occupations of Robert Burgoyne to Thomas Jeakins. 2a1r arable (conveyed by Webb to Jeakins) Copyhold (of Manor of Gamlingay Merton) Cottage at Green End, Gamlingay. 2 messuages and close of pasture. Brown and his sisters convey freehold to Wells, who simultaneously mortgages it to Stowbridge for £60. Brown also covenants to surrender the copyhold to the use of Wells.
