DescriptionFour family wedding photographs. Two of the photographs are taken by Lawrence of Huntingdon of the wedding of George Ronald Simpson and Edna Grace Rickson which took place on the 1st September 1951. These photographs were taken outside Trinity Church, Huntingdon. Another photograph is a studio portrait taken by Ernest Whitney of Huntingdon and appears to date from the time of the second world war. The couple are unidentified but the groom is wearing an army sergeant's uniform. The fourth photograph appears to date from about the same time and is again of an unidentified couple. The groom is in an army uniform and the photographer was Palmer & Duncan of the Falcon Studio, Glasgow.
