The deeds and related papers to Laleham House, Fenstanton, cover the period 1802-1922. The house was built c1899, on the site of a former corn or grist windmill, owned successively by the Margetts, Asplan, Jellings [or Jennings], Clark and Fyson families. By 1896 Ben Fyson conveyed the land "on part of which a Mill formerly stood "to Frederic Warren, and a later deed of 1899 now mentions "the dwelling house now erected thereon". In 1909 the Warren family conveyed the house and land to Frederick Danner, who lived in the house with his wife Sophia until his death in 1922. This bundle also includes probate documents for Frederick Danner.
