Description1. Charles Veasey and David Veasey of Huntingdon, merchants and co-partners. 2. George Game Day of St Ives, gentleman. Consideration: £2500 paid by 2 to 1. Recites lease and release dated 9/10 June 1839 between William Bonfield of Whitings Wharf, Ratcliffe, and Sarah his wife of the first part and 1 of the second part. Recites terms of assignment release dated 19 December 1839 [4670/35]. Recites a warrant of attorney dated 19 December 1839 and judgement. Recites that 1 have contracted with 2 to sell all the debts incurred by the late firm ‘Veasey & Co’ together with the lease of the wharf and premises for £5000. This indenture witnesses that 1 have assigned to 2 all the said judgement and sums of money now due, all debts now owing to 1 by the said William Bonfield and his son Thomas in respect of the business lately known as ‘Veasey & Co’. 1 have also assigned to 2 the promissory note for £9000.
