DescriptionPrinted as three books: a Common Prayer (title page missing) of the reign of Queen Anne (1702-14), a Bible (separately Old Testament & Apocrapha and New Testament, both printed by Bill and Newcombe) 1708 and a Psalter by Collins 1709. They have been bound together by Croft of St Ives who cropped it severely to achieve an even book block probably after the prayer book had lost its title page and to judge by the binding style in the mid-19th century. Annotated with details of the Butler family 1773-1853 and a tracing of a map of England and Wales labelled top left 'Butler' probably early 19th century; email correspondece between Jill Cobb and Susan Thompson about the bible and family.
