In consideration of the great affection that (1) bears towards Matthewe Fryer his wife and Matthew Fryer his second and natural son and for the better maintenance of them and their lives, (1) has granted to (2):
One Lot or close of fen ground (3 and a half acres) lying in a fen called Stocking Fen, abutting upon a Bank called "Loads banke" at the west end, and east upon a little drove way leading to Wray Hill
One piece of land ground (1a.1r.) lying in Muchwood, Ramsey, lying between the lots or closes of Thomas Newton on the east and William Inngs senior on the west.
The above is now in the occupation of (1) or his assigns, as they fell to him by lottery in right of that commonable house wherein he now dwells in Ramsey upon the late divisions and inclosures.
To hold unto (2) to and for the only use of (1) and Matthewe his wife for the whole term of their natural lives and after their decease to the use of their son Matthew and his heirs forever.
Endorsed: sealed and delivered and peacable quit possession given and taken on the within written date by John Fryer and by him again delivered to John Wakelynn in the presence of Gervase Germin Etc.
