DescriptionOne bundle of deeds and papers relating to the estate of Eleanora Anne Julia Hunt Grubbe, an infant. In 1834 an Act of Parliament was passed vesting her Estate in various Counties in Trustees for Sale and for laying out the money arising from such sales in the purchase of other estates etc. The Act is included in this bundle of documents, which comprises documents relating to her properties in Brampton, including a messuage formerly called Ashtons, with stables and outbuildings, garden and pleasure ground, Home Close (formerly called Grove Close and Spinney), various freehold and copyhold parcels of land in Brampton and rights of pasturage on Portholme Meadow.
