DescriptionStates that the Corporation is in dire financial straits because is has had to fight the continual attacks made upon it largely because of its political support of "a certain interest." The scheme of making a number of new burgesses is quite inadequate to raise the necessary money, and would be the cause of involving the Corporation in another lawsuit. The Corporation is willing to give ever possible security for any aid advanced to them.
