Description | The Bill for a more effective Militia having so far proceeded, places before the Earl the application of the Adjutant, Captain Green, who now wishes to retire, both from length of service, and from want of experience in the modern and necessary drill. Submits for the Earl's consideration therefore, the name of a gentleman stated in every way to be qualified to take up Green's post. Has also had an application from the son of Major Kelly, of Norman Cross, for a future commission. |
