There are lists of the inhabitants of the parish in 1898 (p.2), 1915(p.60), 1920(p.81), 1922(p.92) and 1925(p.97); a brief statement of accounts and description of the work re the restoration of the steeple etc., (pp. 4,8,9,11); references to 1903 and 1904 being poor farming years (p.26); notes on the sale of J.N. Heathcote's Steeple Gidding estate in 1915 and the resulting changes in the parish population (p.64); references to the effect of conscription and other wartime measures on farming in the parish (p.67), to prayers to speed up victory, in the War, 1918 (pp. 72, 74-76) and to the parish's celebrations of the Peace Treaty, 1919 (p.78); a note on the cutting down of the 300 year old Oak Avenue, 1925 (p.96); a list of the Rectors, 1511 - 1905 (p.1), and of the Rectors and Patrons, with notes about the Rectors' careers, 1238-1925 (at back of book); a list of some of the Curates and Churchwardens, 1617-1925 (at back of book); a list of Steeple Gidding wills in Archdeaconry records, 1486-1636 (at back of book); details of the bells in Steeple Gidding Church (at back of book).
