DescriptionThis book includes some constable's accounts where the offices of constable and overseer were held jointly. On the flyleaf is an account of people in the workhouse (6 Apr. 1788). At the back of the book are a copy of the poor rate collections (Jul. 1798, Feb. 1800 and Jan. 1810), note of a vestry resolution that Charles Bloodworth and John Jenkinson make valuations of the parish lands and property (15 Mar. 1801) and the account of the Surveyor of the Highways charged to the Overseers (1791-1800). Memoranda of agreements for letting of the parish land (1785) and for management of the poor house (1786) are also at the end of the book.
