DescriptionThe letter from Messrs. Ashe of Arundell Street was sent in the mistaken belief that Sir Robert was executor to George Lewis Scott, late a Commissioner of Excise. He has called on Mr Ashe. Mentions Mr Park, the approaching Bedford election, a letter from Mr Payne and the possibility of calling a meeting of the freemen at Bedford. Catapodi says that one of his notes will be returned but he will pay in three weeks. Has Sir Robert heard about the loss of his cause at Chelmsford? [Addressed to Sir Robert in Margate, Kent].
