TitleLetter to Sir Robert Bernard, from his agent, John Horne Tooke
DescriptionDetailed discussion of the upcoming election in Bedford. Mentions Mr Whitbread, Mr Townsend, Sir George Osborne, Lord Ongley. Their canvas goes very well and he hopes their friends are industrious amongst the freemen of Huntingdonshire. [Finished the following day]: the election day is fixed for next Monday. He has been in bad health but will return to London as soon as he can get in the chaise. There's a false rumour that Colhoun has pledged his support for Mr Fox's election but this was only said in jest.
