DescriptionHe has heard that Mr Lens had a stroke six weeks ago and died last Saturday. Referring to a letter from Mr Sparrow, the sale of timber at Staffordshire, meetings with Mr Clagget, Mr Dunning and Townsend. It seems doubtful that any steps will be taken in his own business this term. Eldridge is dead - he hanged himself over some money owed by a Mr Stapleton of Yorkshire. "I have a deplorable loss in him." He hopes Sir Robert will find benefit from his time in Bath and is ready for their campaign at Grafham. They have a long war ahead of them.
