License to alienate. George Harper to Richard, Lord Rich, Chancellor of the Court of Augmentations, Eliabeth his wife and their heirs. Manor of Pasfield als. Paslow Hall [Essex], late belonging to the Monastery of Waltham, and all appurtenances in Pasfield, High Ongar, Chipping Ongar, Norton, Shelley, Fyfield, Blakemore and Stondon [Essex] (20 Apr 1542).

Letter of attorney. Richard, Lord Rich, and Walter Pharre, Griffin Tyndale and John Nevyll; to receive from George Harper. Manor of Pasfield etc as above (27 Apr 1542).

Deed to lead to the uses of a recovery. Between: i) Robert Rich, Lord Riche; ii) Sir John Darcy, Lord Darcy of Chiche and William Lovelace, Serjeant at Law. Several Essex manors and various messuages, tofts and closes nearby including 1000a of freshwater marshland and 500a of salt water marsh. Also the rectories and parsonages of Great Bursted etc (1 Mar 1571/2).
