Title	Letter to the Duke of Manchester from Lord Bathurst, Mansfield Street
Description	Referring to a circular and recent articles in the press. The subject of this letter is an arrangement in which he cannot be officially concerned. He has some reason to believe that the Duke will have the offer of the Governorship of the Cape so that Mr Canning can give the Post Office to a friend of his own. The salary has recently been reduced.
