Mr Bond and his family emigrated to Venezuela last autumn, on the representation of Mr and Mrs Pattison. The Duke ought to know the true nature of what is going on.

Letter enclosed from Mrs. Bond, describing arrival in South America and their discovery that the Pattison's had no right to sell them the land.
