DescriptionComposite register containing: Baptisms 20 October 1539 - 24 December 1698 Marriages 12 October 1539 - 20 March 1673/1674 13 April 1686 - 11 April 1697 Burials 23 October 1539 - 12 January 1698/1699 The early part is a transcript made in accordance with the provincial constitution of 1597 in a fine hand and with an elaborate heading. Gap in all entries for 1554-9 when no register kept (cf. P114/01/01). Burial entries erratic from 1674 with only two entries, 1674-88. Separate section for burials in woollen evidently intended in 1678 but not kept to. Register evidently in care of John Anderson c.1690, who made retrospective family entries and left his mark on several leaves of this and the first register.
