The gap in baptisms 1711-1715, caused by the removal of two folios is partly filled by a copy of the Bishop's transcripts for 1711, 1712, 1713 (see P129/01/25). The folios were already missing in 1978. Civil marriage entries 1653-55 include notices of banns. Burial entries 1703-17 include note of signing of affidavits for burial in woollen. On front flyleaf: Memorandum dated 1 November 1684 that Charles 1st (sic) died on Friday, 6 February 1684, taken suddenly on the Monday before with a kind of apoplectical fit, 'sic transit gloria mundi'. (Rebound post 1905).
