A terrier (terrare) is an inventory of land, from terra, the latin word for land.
The document consists of five membranes stitched together into a roll with a tail at either end. The script is typical of the sixteenth century handwriting and is simple to read once the letters have been identified. The roll measures ten feet long and is nine and a half inches wide.
