The entries are on parchment for baptisms to 1637/8, thereafter on paper. The paper leaves are very fragmented, especially for baptisms 1641- 1646 where only about 50 per cent survive (but see P50/1/1 for early 1641 entries).

Entries on parchment for burials to 1639/40, thereafter, the entries continue on paper.

List of yearly prophecies 1620, 1622 - 30 inserted after parchment baptisms.
Prayer and the words "Thomas Cliybrocke hoc scripsit " (1 November 1602) written out after parchment burials.

Several fragments bound together as single leaf and inserted after paper baptisms, containing:
burial entry, 1661 (date differs from corresponding entry in P50/1/4);
baptism entry of James Glover (no year);
list of parish officers at Easter 1665;
list of acreages and values, including 'undertakers grounds'.
