Baptisms and marriage at Chettisham and burials in the Cathedral are entered at back of volume, though Chettisham entries also appear in the body of the register. Occupations usually given in baptism and burial entries from 1729. BURIALS include the first burial from the workhouse in July 1726, burial of Mary Bird, executed for poisoning her husband, July 1737, many deaths from smallpox in 1758 and 1768.
