TitleA bride walking to Buckden Church under an elaborate canopy to protect her from the rain.
DescriptionThe Hunts Post of the 2nd May 1935 carried this photograph with the caption "A novel bride 'carriage' was seen at the wedding of Miss Langley and Mr Tindal-Robertson at Buckden on Thursday. In order to protect the bride from the rain in the short passage from the Old Manor House to the Church, a moveable canopy was quickly designed. Here, her uncle, Surgeon-Commander Bell, is seen as one of the carriers of the hand canopy. On the right is the bridegroom and his brother"
Ernest Whitney has written on this print "One way of getting to church in the rain at Buckden"
