Title | Henry Clayton and others bring an indictment against William Harrison, a labourer now being held in jail, for collecting money from people in the Parish of Linton through a forged letter of license granted to him by the name of William Blake, and others, which claimed he had sustained a great loss by fire aboard the Dolphin merchant ship in London. Harrison pleased guilty, the court ordered he be transported to an American plantation colony for 7 years. Harrison was to remain in jail until an oppertunity arose to carry out the order. |
