| Title | John Cotton, a Justice of the Peace and a Deputy Lieutenant of Cambridge, son of Baronet Sir John Hynde Cotton, apeared in court and delivered a certificate confirming his having received the sacrament of the Lord's Supper according to the Church of England's usage.  2 credible witnesses confirmed this.  Cotton then took the oaths of allegiance, supremacy and abjuration and also took the declaration of transubstantiation. |
