TitleFollowing from last session when an indictment was brought against the inhabitants of Bourn for not cleaning a section of Bourn Brook in their Parish, Sheriff Daniel Swaine announced he had given the inhabitants of Bourn notice that they were to attend court session to answer the charge, and John Butler, a surveyor of the Parish, appeared for the inhabitants and pleaded guilty. The court fined the inhabitants £50, respited until next session to allow them time to clean the canal and provide a document proving this.
